Danish Recognition of Foreign Certificates
Questions and answers about the Danish recognition certificates
If you want to apply for a Danish recognition certificate you have to contact a Danish shipping company regarding employment on Danish ships. This company or its representative shall endorse the application as indicated on the application form.
If you hold a certificate of competency issued in the EU, Norway or Iceland you do not need the endorsement of the Danish shipping company regarding employment on Danish ships in order to apply for a recognition certificate.
