Maritime Health and The Centre for Maritime Health Services
We train and educate Danish and foreign seafarers as medical caretakers at our centre on the Danish island of Fanø, which we call the Centre for Maritime Health Service.
At the courses offered at the Centre, medical caretakers acquire a good knowledge of what to do when their colleagues on board the ship are taken ill or are involved in an accident.
The Centre is always prepared to answer questions and provide guidance about health issues to the entire Danish merchant and fishing fleet.
