Transit routes

A transit route is a route that is passed by ships without them calling at a port. The statistics show how many ships of different types transit Denmark and from which country some of them originate.

The number of transiting ships is found by using two or more passage lines that the ships must pass during a specific period of time. By establishing a maximum period of time to be used by the ships between the passage lines, it is possible to separate ships that have called at a port.
