Rates of fees
The rate of fees is defined in the act on registration fees. If you would like to know what to pay beforehand, you can find the information on the webpage of the tax authorities (SKAT). One fee is related to the registration of ownership and another fee is related to the registration of mortgages. SKAT's guidelines are available here:

Prices for transcripts and certificates
The fee for the following transcripts and certificates is DKK 175:
- Confirmed transcript of the ship's page
- Confirmed transcript of documents, for example deed and mortgage
- Registration certificates
- Non-registration certificates
- Deletion certificates
You must yourself ensure that you pay the registration fee when you forward the application for registration. You can pay via netbanking to:
Danske Bank: registration number 0216, account number: 4069031625, IBAN: DK8402164069031625, SWIFT: DABADKKK, giving the distinctive number or letters/Boat Register number and type of document (bill of sale, mortgage deed, etc.).
For all ships, the fee is calculated on the basis of the purchase or mortgage sum and the amount calculated is rounded up to the nearest DKK 100.
In case of lack of payment of the registration fee, the case will be transferred to SKAT.
Do you intend to pay in foreign currency? Then, you must enclose a calculation and it must be evident which rate of exchange and which date you use. The date of the exchange rate must not be more than 14 days prior to the date of the application for registration.
Ships worthy of preservation
As regards ships worthy of preservation, the registration fee depends on the type of ship. A pleasure craft worthy of preservation must pay the registration fee for a pleasure craft, while a cargo ship worthy of preservation must pay the registration fee for a commercial ship.
