 Certain ships’ routes in the Kattegat are discontinued from 1 October 2010

Recently, the maritime authorities in Denmark and Sweden have examined the ship routeing systems in the Kattegat.



On this basis, it has been decided in Denmark to discontinue certain ships’ routes in the Kattegat from 1 October 2010 which are used only to a lesser degree.

The ships’ routes are regulated under the Act on Safety at Sea issued by the Danish Maritime Authority.
