Fall over board from fishing vessel
The Division for Investigation of Maritime Accidents/Danish Maritime Accident Investigation Board has published a report about a fatal accident on 27 February 2011 on board the Greenlandic registered fishing vessel Erika.
During fishing on the fishing grounds west of Iceland one fisherman fell over board during recovering of the gear. The fisherman was very quickly recovered back on board, but despite the crews immediate efforts to resusicitate their colleaque it was not possible to safe his live.
