Tamiflu in ships’ medicine chests
Recently the Danish Maritime Authority has been contacted about the introduction of Tamiflu in ships’ medicine chests.
Against this background, it is stressed that, if a shipping company wants to include Tamiflu® in its ships’ medicine chests, it must forward a reasoned application for an exemption to cms@dma.dk in the usual way.

Medical treatment with Tamiflu® or other antiviral medicaments must be initiated only in consultation with Radio Medical. In this connection, Radio Medical will also provide information about other measures of a preventive or treatment-related nature.
