Danish Ships Inspection Council


The task of the Danish Ships Inspection Council is to advise the Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs and the Danish Maritime Authority about issues within the scope of the act on safety at sea.

The Council is also tasked with following technical developments within the scope of the act and to present requests and proposals related to the legislation on ships' safety, etc. and the associated administration.

The Council has been established pursuant to section 26 of the act on safety at sea.
