According to the Danish RO Agreement and the Annex to the Danish RO Agreement, the ROs are required to forward reports to the Danish Maritime Authority as described below.
An annual report on the Danish fleet is to be sent to the Danish Maritime Authority no later than 1 March each year.
The report must include Annex 1 and cover statutory surveys, certification and other activities carried out on behalf of or on the request of the Danish Maritime Authority for the previous year.
The reporting period will always be 01/01/xx to 31/12/xx the previous year.
2.1. Quality assessment of Danish flagged vessels
- The report must provide the number of Danish flagged ships.
- KPI (Key Performance Indicators).
The KPI reporting form attached must be completed. The KPIs are requested in order to extract comparable trend indicators. The KPIs must be elaborated with comments from the ROs, stating their view on the figures – in short an evaluation of each KPI.
- The harmonised form to be used for the reporting is attached as Annex 1.
Additional items should focus on performance rather than statistics and include quality statements based on general assessments; this could, for example, be indicators that would – or would not – provide the Danish Maritime Authority with input for further follow-up activities.
2.2. MLC on Danish flagged vessels
- The report must cover records of inspections and statistics and other information on RO MLC inspections and must contain:
- Statistics on ships subject to inspection.
- Statistics and information on deficiencies and cases of MLC detentions of ships.
- The harmonised form to be used for the reporting is attached as Annex 1.
2.3. ISM on Danish flagged vessels
- A report on the Danish fleet is to be sent biannually to the Danish Maritime Authority at a time to be specified on a case-by-case basis.
- The harmonised form to be used for the reporting is attached as Annex 2.
2.4. ISPS on Danish flagged vessels
- The report must cover statistics for ships within the scope of Regulation 725/2004/EC (ISPS Code) and must contain:
- - Statistics regarding the work done by the RSO on behalf of the Danish Maritime Authority.
- - Main deficiencies found and related remedial actions.
- - Additional information regarding the Danish fleet.
- The harmonised form to be used for the reporting is attached as Annex 1.
