The Danish Maritime Authority keeps an overview of approved diving companies for inshore diving in Denmark. Approved diving companies have a permit (certificate) that is valid for three years, and after this period the Danish Maritime Authority pays a visit to the company to survey the diving equipment and the procedures. If this survey is to the satisfaction of the Danish Maritime Authority, a new permit will be issued that is valid for three years.

If you would like to know whether a diving company has been approved for inshore diving in Denmark, please contact the Danish Maritime Authority by email: or one of the ship surveyors mentioned above.

The legislation applicable in this area is the act on diving operations and order no. 1394 of 12 December 2013 on diving equipment.
